Tambone plus Tablet
Tambone 0.4 (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Modified 0.4 mg + Dutasteride 0.5 mg Tablets)
Tambone plus is Selective alpha adregenic blocker and 5-alpha Reductase Inhibitor Combination. Indication – In Patient with Severe LUTS with Prostate size ≥30cc. Mechanism of action Dutasteride – 5 alpha Reductase inhibitors stops the production of DHT from Testosterone and hence stops multiplication of Prostate cells.This symptoms relief is maintained in the majority of patients after the α1-blocker is removed from the combination. Dutasteride can be used in a 24-week combination with tamsulosin, to achieve rapid symptoms relief. Patients with severe symptoms may benefit from longer-term combination therapy.
- Combination therapy is significantly superior to monotherapy in reducing the risk of progression of BPH.
- Well tolerated.
- Dosage and administration – Once a day, can be taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
